Interesting data for Poland in the latest edition of the Travel Confidence Index survey conducted by OpinionWay on behalf of Allianz Partners.
✨Despite the uncertain financial situation, Europeans are not giving up on their vacation trips in the 2025 season, and Poles are high in the ranking of those planning trips.
✈️ Vacation plans for summer 2025 (percentage of those planning domestic or international trips):
* Italy: 83%, Spain: 80%, Switzerland & Poland: 78%, United Kingdom: 77%, Netherlands: 70%, Germany: 66%
* 48% of respondents plan to travel abroad within Europe, Poles – 28%
📱 AI ranks high among the main sources of inspiration for choosing travel destinations:
* social media: 42% (+1 p.p. y/y)
* artificial intelligence (AI): 32% (+2 p.p. y/y)
📉 Inflation and travel costs:
* 61% are concerned about the increase in vacation costs
* greatest concerns: Germany (69%), UK & Italy (68%)
* 51% are canceling their trips due to lack of funds
⚠️Europeans are saving on the following in order to go on vacation:
* entertainment: 60%
* large expenses: 56%
💶 Planned budgets for vacation trips are increasing in most countries. Poles plan to spend more than Spaniards:
* Poland: €1,514
* Spaniards: €1,056
* Most: Switzerland (€3,722), UK (€2,747), Austria (€2,622)
🛡️ Insurance as a safety measure:
* concerns: weather (53%), geopolitics (47%), illness/fraud (47%-45%)
* 62% plan to purchase insurance (+3 points)
